Afnan Suleiman–Master student

Afnan is a 2nd year master student of drug sciences at the University of Basel. She studied pharmacy for her bachelor’s degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, where she subsequently worked for several years as a pharmacist.  She decided to go back to academia, pursuing her passion for nature, science, and laboratory work which resulted in her moving from Jerusalem to Basel. Afnan was always fascinated by the immune system, particularly T cells, which is why she chose to complete her master thesis project in our lab.
